Connor Simon is 17 years old and lives in Ohio. He is an extreme martial artist and tricker. He competes in a national circuit called NASKA or North American Sport Karate Association. He travels the country and competes in different states. He is currently ranked top ten in the world in 3 separate divisions. He also teaches tricking and traditional Taekwondo to children ages 4-13. What inspires him is his competition. Every time they push themselves to the next level it makes him want to push two levels ahead of them. His coach Michael Guthrie also inspires him. He always inspires Connor to keep fighting and train harder. The children that he teaches always inspire him to become a better instructor and pass on the legacy of tricking to them so that one day they can be just as successful or more successful than he is. Emily Gimpel is a twenty three-year-old professional golfer from Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania. Emily played golf for both Mount Saint Joseph Academy in Flourtown, PA and the University of Maryland Terrapins. This is her second year on the LPGA's Symetra Tour, the official developmental tour for the LPGA. Emily's motto is "PLAY to your strengths"...which, for her, includes incorporation of a strong faith, playing to have fun, eternal optimism, positivity, hard work, and
determination. Emily is very excited to reach her ultimate goal of competing full time on the LPGA Tour, and knows her HARD WORK and FEARLESS attitude will get her there! She hopes to inspire young people to reach for their dreams with determination and optimism!
Known as the "Bowtied Spartan", Stephen Crawford is an Obstacle Course,Ultra Marathon Runner, Crossfit Athlete, and Trainer dedicated to having fun all while finding limits and learning to push past them.
Spending most of his life as society would call overweight he found salvation in running and living a fit life. With his new grasp on life he dedicates his time to pushing his bodies limits in an effort to fight against bullying and showing that anyone can get out there and be great. Dalton Brisbois is an 18 year old professional motorcycle racer out
of Ashburnham, Massachusetts. "If there's one thing I've learned over the
7 years I've been racing it's that you need to be on your game mentally
and physically at all times. Whether I am at the track, at home, or at
the gym, the daily reminders to do my best from Inspyr give me the extra
motivation to go the distance and take the win."
Nicholas Lowinger is a 17-year old senior in high school at the Wheeler School, located in Providence, RI. He is the founder of the Gotta Have Sole Foundation, INC, through which he donates brand-new footwear to vulnerable children living in homeless shelters throughout America. To date, since launching his charity in 2010, Nicholas has donated new footwear to over 45,000 homeless children in 43 states, and has mobilized over 4,700 volunteers, nationwide. His goal is to expand his program and work with teen leaders who run Gotta Have Sole clubs in their communities in all 50 states by the time he graduates high school in 2016. His mission is to open up opportunities for homeless children and ultimately change the state of homelessness in the US. Nicholas is also passionate about tennis and in his spare time, he enjoys playing and watching the game, spending time with his friends and family. He plans on studying Social Entrepreneurship when he enters college in the fall of 2016. His One Big Dream is to change the world!
Jo-El Rowell started Team Me Against Me with the sole purpose of connecting people who enjoy participating in Obstacle Course Races. Team Me Against Me is for anyone who isn't interested in competing with anyone else, but members focus on themselves to be BETTER than THEY were yesterday!
Mattie Flading is a Lacrosse player who's passion is serving others. She has spent hundreds of community service hours volunteering and always protects the underdog. Each week she talks to groups of middle school girls about the pressures of being bullied, how to deal with daily life struggles, and overcoming obstacles they may encounter. Along with playing sports, piano, and getting her pilot’s license, she loves to spread encouragement and hope!
Jasmine Marie Gailey is from Florida and was hooked on surfing after her first time. Shortly after she started competing and now nothing can stop her. She hopes to one day surf in the World Surf League. Jasmine wants to be a marine biologist to travel and surf the world. She loves our gear for because the variety of positive messages apply to so many aspects of life. Dream Chaser socks are her favorite because she feels like her future is full of possibilities!
Tim Holt is a Graduate from JMU in Political Science, History, Sociology, and Secondary Education. Certified NASM trainer. 30X Tough Mudder, 5X World's Toughest Mudder with 50 or more miles in 2014 and 2016. 2015 and 2016 Team USA athlete for OCR World Championship. BPI Sports Athlete, Garden of Flavor Ambassador, and Tough Mudder Ambassador. Featured on CBS and CBS Sports for Tough Mudder.
Drew Beilfuss is 15 years old from Huntington Beach, California. He is an extremely talented Amateur Skateboarder who is dedicated to always do the best he can. He holds himself to high standards and trains hard everyday. Drew believes every athlete must work hard and play hard. Zack Beilfuss is 12 years old and lives in Huntington Beach, California. He is a young, energetic Amateur Skateboarder with a fearless attitude. He lives for the thrill that completion brings and always gives his best. What Inspyr and motivates Zack most to be better, is his older brother Drew Beilfuss.
Erika Russ is from Texas and is 22 years old. She has Gastroparesis and Hemiplegic Migraines (a rare condition involving temporary weakness on one side of the body) which right now have her walker/wheelchair bound. She attends physical therapy three times a week to work her way way back on to two legs. "Things can get tough, but I am so thankful for the amazing opportunities I've been given and big things can happen when you never give up. :) "
